The Halo Effect Sets Out on Their First Headliner Tour in 2025 - Two Stops in Sweden!

The Halo Effect, consisting of pioneers from Gothenburg's melodeath scene, was formed during the pandemic in 2020. The members, previously involved in bands like In Flames and Dark Tranquillity, returned to their roots and created a new sound that pays tribute to classic Gothenburg metal. The band's debut album, Days of the Lost, has achieved great success, and The Halo Effect is ready to meet their audience on their first headliner tour in early 2025. On Friday, February 14th, they will perform in Stockholm at Fållan, followed by a show in Gothenburg at Filmstudion on Saturday, February 15th.

In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, five old friends reunited to realize an old idea—resulting in the formation of The Halo Effect. The band consists of pioneers from Gothenburg's melodeath scene: lead guitarists Niclas Engelin and Jesper Strömblad, vocalist Mikael Stanne, bassist Peter Iwers, and drummer Daniel Svensson. The members have a long history together, having played in prominent bands like In Flames and Dark Tranquillity, which helped shape the renowned "Gothenburg Sound" that influenced the global metal scene.

The Halo Effect was created with the goal of returning to their roots and exploring the classic melodeath sound, but with the combined experience and skill of its members. The result is a powerful album that celebrates the genre and delivers intense melodic metal. With the pandemic over, the band is now ready to meet their audience worldwide and showcase what they can do on stage.

The concert is organized by Live Nation.
