Max McNown creates songs that perfectly accompany our most intimate moments—such as times of deep heartbreak and immense loss, major upheavals, and life-changing insights. Within just a year of learning to play guitar, the Oregon-born but now Nashville-based musician released three EPs, all highlighting his powerful yet nuanced lyrics—a quality beautifully showcased in his breakthrough single, "A Lot More Free." With his warm vocal expression, partially honed by playing on the beaches of Southern California, McNown's debut album, Wandering, brings an even deeper sense of meaning to his songwriting—proving, in turn, his extraordinary ability to calm the mind and uplift the soul.
