Marcus King fills his music with pain, regret, and soul—a blend of blues, rock, and soul that deeply resonates. With his powerful voice and unique guitar playing, he has become one of today’s most celebrated live performers. Now, he is coming to Sweden on June 26th, taking the stage at Fållan in Stockholm as part of the MARCUS KING BAND: 2025 EUROPEAN TOUR.

The GRAMMY-nominated musician Marcus King began playing guitar at the age of eight, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. After spending thousands of miles on the road with The Marcus King Band, he has established himself as an outstanding live artist. In 2020, he collaborated with Dan Auerbach and recorded his solo album El Dorado, which led to a GRAMMY nomination for Best Americana Album. In addition to headlining major stages, he has also performed with Chris Stapleton, Greta Van Fleet, and Nathaniel Rateliff, and participated in festivals like Stagecoach. He has also been involved in mental health initiatives through various projects, including a guitar auction in collaboration with MusiCares.

His 2024 album Mood Swings feels like a purifying bath, where a life of sin and decay is washed away, leaving behind a reborn but still raw and unfiltered version of himself. It's as if King has squeezed pure soul directly from his inner being, through his broken heart and onto the record—under the watchful eye of Rick Rubin. Despite all the darkness, one cannot help but feel a sense of hope in the power of Marcus King's voice.
