JPEGMAFIA is often praised for his remarkable ability to create music that brings together a wide range of emotions, sounds, and themes in a way many have never heard before. The origin of this talent can be found in the Los Angeles-based rap phenomenon's background.

Born and raised in Brooklyn with Jamaican parents, his family moved to rural Alabama as JPEG entered his teenage years. There, he was confronted with racism and narrow-mindedness. He sought refuge in Ice Cube's intellectual, uncompromising stance and began making his own music.

However, it was after returning to the U.S., following his service in the U.S. military, that everything truly began. He settled in Baltimore in 2015, where he experienced the riots and protests there. Since then, JPEGMAFIA's career has only skyrocketed, and with new music on the way, all we can say is – see you at Fållan on January 17th, because this is something you don’t want to miss!
