With a voice as powerful as the dramatic cliffs of the Faroe Islands, Eivør has established herself as one of the Nordic region's most unique and versatile artists. Her music moves effortlessly between folk, electronic soundscapes, classical opera, and metal, always rooted in her Faroese heritage.
Her distinctive guttural singing technique, inspired by throat singing, beatboxing, and growling, gives her music a primal force that reflects both nature's and humanity's struggles.
Raised in a small village in the Faroe Islands, Eivør was shaped by the island's raw nature and ancient singing traditions. As a teenager, she broke through and has since released 11 albums, collaborated with international artists, and composed music for film and games, including The Last Kingdom and God of War.
Her latest album, ENN, marks a new chapter and is a grand sonic journey where classical music, electronic beats, and Faroese roots meet. Created in collaboration with poet Marjun Syderbø Kjelnæs, the lyrics address humanity’s struggles, the power of nature, and female strength.
Eivør continues to push boundaries and take her unique voice out into the world. Experience her raw, timeless, and boundless music as she takes the stage at Mejeriet in Lund, Filmstudion in Gothenburg, and Fållan in Stockholm.
For all three concerts, she will be joined by Icelandic singer-songwriter Ásgeir as a special guest, along with Elinborg, who is also her sister, delivering dreamy soundscapes as the opener!
This concert is organized by FKP Scorpio.
