Two of Sweden's most influential 90s bands, Atomic Swing and Popsicle, are finally sharing the same stage. With their unique sounds and iconic songs, both bands have left an indelible mark on Swedish music history.
Atomic Swing broke through with their retro-inspired rock and irresistible melodies, quickly becoming part of the soundtrack of the 90s. Their debut album, A Car Crash in the Blue (1993), conquered both Sweden and international audiences. After a long hiatus, the band made a comeback in 2021 with new music and acclaimed live performances.
At the same time, Popsicle paved the way for the Swedish indie scene with their critically acclaimed debut album, Lacquer (1992), which earned them a Grammis for Rock Album of the Year. Classics like Sunkissed and Hey Princess defined an entire era before the band concluded their career in 1999 following an extensive Japan tour.
Now, these two musical giants are coming together for a unique tour, sharing the stage for the first time. This is a rare opportunity to experience both Atomic Swing and Popsicle—two bands that, despite their differences, hold a special place in Swedish music history.
The concert is organized by Jubel.
